Course Overview

This BCI licensed training course is a foundation course based on the Business Continuity Institutes “Good Practice Guidelines”. It covers the full business continuity lifecycle and helps prepare students to pass the Business Continuity Institute's Certificate in Business Continuity.

The course consists of three days intensive residential training with the option of staying on and sitting the exam the following day.

Alternatively, delegates may wish to book an exam in their local area or at a later date – details for all exam dates throughout the UK are listed on the BCI website www.thebci.org

• Those appointed to business continuity posts who do not have a business continuity back ground or who have limited business continuity experience.
• Those looking to progress through the BCI grades (ASBCI and MBCI) and pass the BCI Certificate exam.

Course Style

The Emergency Planning College is a world-renowned, UK Cabinet Office-approved provider of national resilience training. Our training style is interactive and involves tutor presentations, group discussions and exercises as well as individual tests supplied by the BCI that help confirm your understanding and prepare you for the exam.
Other providers deliver this course over five days but the EPC, using ilearn and its residential setting is approved to deliver the knowledge in an intensive three day course.

Course Price

£1,650 (excluding VAT) including 2 nights accommodation and meals (optional accommodation night before course starts)

Tutor Experience

Our trainers are members of the BCI and have also achieved the Certificate of Business Continuity Management (CBCM). As well as being experience trainers, they deliver business continuity training for many other organizations in the public and private sectors.

Course Dates

There is a booking cut-off date 4 weeks before the course start date. This is to enable the College to provide the BCI with enough time to process the delegate bookings and send us the relevant course materials. Please ensure that you book your selected course and/or exam in plenty of time as we cannot accept bookings after the 4 week cut-off date. Cut off dates for 2013 are:

• 22 January (for exam on 22 February)
• 12 June (for exam on 12 July)
• 6 August (for exam on 6 September)
• 25 September (for exam on 25 October)
• 06 November (for exam on 06 December)
