Seeking Academic Partners
At the Emergency Planning College (EPC) and the International Fire Training Centre (IFTC) we want to give our delegates exciting opportunities for personal development, the best possible learning support and the best possible value for money. To add more value to our programmes we are seeking academic partners to accredit our courses to enable those who complete them to directly earn credit towards qualification-earning programmes that you already offer. We need flexible solutions, focused on the needs of professionals who are in busy and demanding jobs. They need a variety of innovative ways to access learning, gain credit for prior learning and continue their professional development.
We are looking for partners who can accredit learning along four main pathways:
-
Risk, Crisis and Integrated Emergency Management
-
Business Continuity and Corporate Resilience
-
Public Safety Management (Crowds and Events)
-
Fire Safety Management
However, not all offers need be directly in these fields. We are not looking for a sole partner; every proposal will be considered because we want to offer a range of options to delegates - using their prior learning to open a variety of doors to further opportunities. We would expect this to include different routes to vocational and academic qualifications up to and including postgraduate levels.
Business value
For us, these partnerships will make our courses more attractive to our customers. To you, it could generate a significant amount of business as our delegates transfer to you to capitalize their earned credits and complete your qualification-earning programmes.
